Murals, Trompe l'oeil and Painted Finishes We are here to make your home or office environment truly special. Incorporating family pets, exotic locales, and even wimsicle details such as tucking a portrait of the exteriors of the homes into the murals we paint within them.
Custom Monochromatic Mural, Denver CO 2007
Below are images of a recently completed installation in a circular 3 story staircase and adjoining dining room. The walls are a fantasy Tuscan scene, all in neutral colors. It is deliberately executed in a stylistic hand and limited palette to give the viewer an impression of an antique hand block printed wallpaper mural.
The dining room ceiling is J.P. Weaver Petitsen resin and wood ornamentation.

Painted Trompe l'Oeil French Doors and Simple Ceiling Treatment
Drab sliding doors in this bedroom are given a sense of dimension and depth with a painted scene. And yes, even the hinges and door handles are trompe l'oel! The inset ceiling panel in the same room is inexpensively created with Composition curved corners and wood moldings.

In collaboration with Nancy Sweet of Sweet Walls, overscale grisaille painting under heavy amber glaze for the 2008 Junior Symphony Guild Showhouse, The Phipps Tennis Pavilion. The motifs are exagerated in a great degree for a play on scale. The room has a great sense of masculinity as this is the men's dressing room for the tennis pavilion. Interior design by Tony Torres Interiors. |

Panoramic Mural in the 2000 Junior Symphony Guild Show House, Denver, CO
This room was particularly suited to a panoramic mural as the corners are a 30" radius. The mural was painted on lining paper (in place) to give the impression an antique block printed wallpaper mural might have. |
